Today is Sunday, October 25th and I have been in the hospital 3 1/2 weeks now. We have planned for inducement on Friday the 30th which means we just have 5 days to go! So, I'm looking at 1 more week in the hospital and then I will be home with my family again! It is hard to believe that I will have missed all of October... I was checked into the hospital on Oct. 1st and will probably not be checked out until the beginning of Nov. I feel like there are some many things I have missed. I didn't get to take Niko to the pumpkin patch this year, or decorate my house for fall, and I've only made pumpkin bread once since one night when a touch of fall hit us in Sept.
I am so excited to meet my Noah... to hold him in my arms, and tell him how much I love him. He and I have been through a lot together this last month. ;) On, the other hand I am a little bit nervous of what is to come. Even though I have been on bedREST, I don't particularly feel rested. When a person doesn't move much for that long energy levels tend to go down. I am just hoping and praying I have the strength that is required with taking care of a new born... not sleeping for months, trying to feed, diaper, repeat.... ohhhhh.... I need strength. :) Luckily I will have great help, which I will need with a newborn and my very energetic 20 month old.
I'm also excited to see how Niko is going to react to his new baby brother. I think he will be fascintated by him, but I also know that Niko is a rough and tough boy and I may have to act as a human shield for Noah for a while. hehe We'll see...:)
We will keep everyone posted on Noah's arrival whether on the 30th or before (if he decides to come earlier.) Keep watching for pictures of our little one on here and facebook as well.
Love to all,
Jayme
