Sorry for the delay of this post! I don't think I have ever been so sleep deprived in my entire life!:) It is all so very worth it though... Pablo and I are absolutely in love with our little guy. Niko is just as sweet as can be. Parenthood is a very new adventure for us, and within seconds of Niko's birth we understood the love of a parent towards their child. When Niko was born he swallowed a lot of blood due to a small complication I had with the delivery, and for a couple minutes they could not get Niko to breath. Pablo and I just stared helplessly as NICU was paged and nurses ran in and out in a hurry. Our hearts stopped... And when we heard Niko cry that first time Pablo and I began to cry and hold eachother... It was one of the scariest moments of our life. It was in those seconds that we understood how strong our love was for our little boy.
We have been so blessed, and cannot wait for everyone to meet Niko!

Jayme and Pablo - we are so excited for you! Niko is absolutely beautiful, what a blessing. And we're so glad that he's healthy. We think of you all the time, and you're also in our prayers.
